Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has categorically against them and refuted the reports saying that 60 per cent nursing positions were lying vacant at the institute. In a public statement, PGIMER made it clear the alarming news that is being carried out in some media houses is misleading and not true. The institute also claimed that it periodically hires desired nursing personnel in accordance with the approved posts and within the system of transparent selection that ensures its sufficient personnel level.
The administration of the PGIMER also added that the institution will do anything to offer the best standard of healthcare services and has taken all possible measures in order to ensure that it becomes short of nursing staff. In the official explanation, the numbers reported in the viral news story do not tell the true picture in the situation of appointing nursing staff. Law enforcers have encouraged citizens and the media to admit verified information that will be released by the institute.
